Summary

Adjusting to life as a world-famous cartoonist isn't easy。 Terrifying deadlines, piles of junk-food wrappers under a glowing computer screen, and an ever-growing horde of pets。。。。umm, never mind--it's pretty much the same。

With characteristic wit and charm, Sarah Andersen's third collection of comics and illustrated personal essays offers a survival guide for frantic modern life: from the importance of avoiding morning people, to Internet troll defense 101, to the not-so-life-changing futility of tidying up。 But when all else fails and the world around you is collapsing, make a hot chocolate, count the days until Halloween, and snuggle up next to your furry beacon of hope。

I used this series for a class assignment for school。 I had to design a poster around them and these three books really go into detail on how being a young/new adult feels。 It is a great series and I cannot wait for the fourth book to be published。

I love these comics! Whenever I need a quick cheer up or something to calm me down, I look through the pages of these comics with their fluffy covers。

2。5 stars。 I absolutely loved the author's first scribble book, but sadly they just haven't packed as much of a punch in the subsequent books。 There were definitely some funny ones, but some were just bland or felt unnecessarily politically charged。 2。5 stars。 I absolutely loved the author's first scribble book, but sadly they just haven't packed as much of a punch in the subsequent books。 There were definitely some funny ones, but some were just bland or felt unnecessarily politically charged。 。。。more

3,5* Zatím mě tento díl bavil nejvíce, ale pořád si myslím, že by bylo lepší, kdyby všechny díly vyšly jako jedna kniha。

8/10Another whimsical book by Sarah Andersen about her life which, somehow, seems to be a bit everyone's life。 The last pages are particularly lovely for any wannabe artist! 8/10Another whimsical book by Sarah Andersen about her life which, somehow, seems to be a bit everyone's life。 The last pages are particularly lovely for any wannabe artist! 。。。more

One of yesterday's charity shop finds while we were visiting St。 Albans。 We do enjoy Sarah Andersen's unique take on the world and her fun little comics, each a snapshot into her life。 We see her anxieties, her relationship with her boyfriend and her pets, and her creative process。 She also gives budding artists a little helpful guide at the end。 An enjoyable read。 3 stars。 One of yesterday's charity shop finds while we were visiting St。 Albans。 We do enjoy Sarah Andersen's unique take on the world and her fun little comics, each a snapshot into her life。 We see her anxieties, her relationship with her boyfriend and her pets, and her creative process。 She also gives budding artists a little helpful guide at the end。 An enjoyable read。 3 stars。 。。。more

En este libro, hay algo más de texto en el que se anima y apoya la idea de no rendirse a la hora de crear contenido, acompañado de sus características viñetas 💜

Humor, relatability, comics, cats, millennial problems, and even a section that reads like a self-help book。 What more can you ask for…。 Except more?

I really enjoy reading Sara's comic strips, they've given me such pure delight since she started with them, I only now found out they're available as a book and I couldn't be more happy1 Now i need to go back and read the first two books as well!I've always seen her doodles making its rounds on social media and they're always somewhat relatable, true or just purely hilarious。 In today's time we all need some comic relieve I really enjoy reading Sara's comic strips, they've given me such pure delight since she started with them, I only now found out they're available as a book and I couldn't be more happy1 Now i need to go back and read the first two books as well!I've always seen her doodles making its rounds on social media and they're always somewhat relatable, true or just purely hilarious。 In today's time we all need some comic relieve 。。。more

I love Sarah Andersen and her wonderful drawings!!

The last book of Sarah's that I read was incredibly disappointing so I wasn't expecting much out of this one。 However, she does redeem herself with the collection of cartoons here, so I was very happy about that。 Most of these are funny and like in her first book, a few are relatable (like saying you're going to get up at a certain time without hitting the snooze button。 That is SO me!) and ONE made me laugh out loud, but it falls apart toward the end and goes back to the way her second book (wh The last book of Sarah's that I read was incredibly disappointing so I wasn't expecting much out of this one。 However, she does redeem herself with the collection of cartoons here, so I was very happy about that。 Most of these are funny and like in her first book, a few are relatable (like saying you're going to get up at a certain time without hitting the snooze button。 That is SO me!) and ONE made me laugh out loud, but it falls apart toward the end and goes back to the way her second book (which I disliked) was written。 I don't like the endless "chatter" about this and that。 I just wanted to read the cartoons, which pretty much speak for themselves。 The stuff on Artist's Survival and so forth didn't do much for me at all。 So like I said in my last review of her previous book, I'm through with this series。 I should have stopped at the first one。 。。。more

Almost every single comic by Sarah Andersen makes me wonder how she can be so relatable。 She never fails to make me laugh。 I've been following her comics for years now and they are always so enjoyable。 I really loved reading this and I hope we get to see more of her work in the future! If it wasn't for my lack of artistic ability, I might actually BE Sarah Andersen。 She knows the inner workings of my brain, intimately。 It's scary。 If it wasn't for my lack of artistic ability, I might actually BE Sarah Andersen。 She knows the inner workings of my brain, intimately。 It's scary。 。。。more

Sarah Scribbles comics on cats and dealing with criticism, both from others and yourself。 Another quick read that I found very satisfying!

I always want to give the Sarah's Scribbles books five stars based entirely on how relatable they feel。 Examples: putting back shirts when shopping, posture at the desk/table, periods, anxiety, equal love for cats and dogs。 Throw in that the comics are adorable。 I mean just look at those giant cutie pie eyes! I still laughed out loud in this one and still said, "This is me! Oh, this is me, too!" from time to time。 I just didn't do it as much as I remembered in the others。 This one was a little m I always want to give the Sarah's Scribbles books five stars based entirely on how relatable they feel。 Examples: putting back shirts when shopping, posture at the desk/table, periods, anxiety, equal love for cats and dogs。 Throw in that the comics are adorable。 I mean just look at those giant cutie pie eyes! This was a hilarious, quick read。 While I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and related to the content even, my favorite part was at the end。 There's a section where the author addresses the budding artist crowd (aka youth) and it is empowering, heartwarming, and hopeful。 It is this end that made the overall content even more meaningful。 This was a hilarious, quick read。 While I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and related to the content even, my favorite part was at the end。 There's a section where the author addresses the budding artist crowd (aka youth) and it is empowering, heartwarming, and hopeful。 It is this end that made the overall content even more meaningful。 。。。more

Reading the cat & dog comics by Sarah is always a torture。 Why you ask? Well, our house apparently is 'Too small for pets, Chaity' , 'You can't even take care of yourself。', and 'You are allergic to everything,Chaity。 ' Anyways, I really do hope my mother doesn't have a secret GR account or anything。 Jokes apart, It's actually the allergy and no one deserves it。 Now the review-What I love most about Sarah Andersen's art is her character art。 Now, I'm not an artist but drawing is one of my coping Reading the cat & dog comics by Sarah is always a torture。 Why you ask? It could be my social media hiatus from almost all the platforms but I haven't seen any of the comics of this book online before。 While some comics of the other book were quite familiar to me due to my insta newsfeed, all the comics here were refreshing to me since I haven't seen them prior to reading this book, and made it ten times better comparing to my first book by her。 Some comics actually made me laugh out loud。 A great read for those of you who are slumping! These comics are, to be honest, a blessing to most of us。 4。5 stars。 。。。more

Tye second half of the book where she talked about get career as an artist really did make me emotional。 The entire time I felt like I was in the presence of greatness。 :)I always wondered what Sarah Andersen looked like and how old she was。 I googled her and she’s not only smart, but also very pretty and only 28, which means that when these books were published she was probably younger than I am now, which honestly gives me a bit of existential crisis thinking I haven’t done anything with my li Tye second half of the book where she talked about get career as an artist really did make me emotional。 The entire time I felt like I was in the presence of greatness。 :)I always wondered what Sarah Andersen looked like and how old she was。 I googled her and she’s not only smart, but also very pretty and only 28, which means that when these books were published she was probably younger than I am now, which honestly gives me a bit of existential crisis thinking I haven’t done anything with my life。 :)))Feeling inspired, though。 。。。more
